The Good Steward: 40 Days of Biblical Wisdom on Money & Possessions
The Bible's take on money can be summed up with one word: "stewardship." That means everything we have belongs to God, making us stewards rather than owners. That may sound frightening, but because it is how we were designed to live, embracing it leads to freedom and flourishing.
This 40 day devotional study is meant to introduce and apply this concept, with each day explaining one principle of stewardship supported by Scripture and applied through questions. The practical is explored: saving, spending, debt, simplicity, contentment, and generosity. Yet, the deeper matters are also examined, like a theology of stewardship and the heart’s battle against greed and false security. The aim is that one day we will get to hear the words, "Well done, good and faithful servant."
